This page allows you to add the details of an insurance company. You can create a unique code for the company and add details like the name of the company, the contact person, the mailing address and the country in which the company is located. You can also add the contact details like the phone number, fax number, telex number and email address. The system stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the insurance company details.
Select the “Insurance Company Information” link at the bottom of the “Create Insurance Policy” page.
The “Create Insurance Company” page appears.
Enter the following fields:

Insurance Company Code |
A unique code identifying the insurance company (Alphanumeric, 18). Mandatory. |

Company Name |
The name of the insurance company (Alphanumeric, 60). Mandatory. |

Contact Person |
The name of the contact person in the insurance company (Alphanumeric, 45). |

Address |
The complete mailing address of the insurance company (Alphanumeric, 120). |

City |
The city in which the insurance company is located (Alphanumeric, 40). |

State |
The state in which the city is located (Alphanumeric, 40). |

Country |
Use the drop-down list box to select the country in which the insurance company is located. All the countries defined or available in the “Create Currency and Country” activity of the “Organization Setup” business component will be available for selection in the ascending order. |

Zip |
The zip code of the city in which the insurance company is located (Alphanumeric, 20). |

Telex |
The telex number identifying the insurance company (Alphanumeric, 20). |

Phone |
The phone number of the insurance company (Alphanumeric, 18). |

Fax |
The fax number of the insurance company (Alphanumeric, 40). |

URL |
The URL address of the insurance company (Alphanumeric, 50). |

The email address of the contact person or the insurance company (Alphanumeric, 60). |
Click the “Create” pushbutton to create the insurance company.
Th system saves the details of the insurance companies and updates the login ID of the user and the system date in the “Created By” and the “Created Date” fields.
The system displays the following:

The login ID of the user who created the insurance company. |

The date on which insurance company has been created. |
