This page allows you to view the details of the receipt raised by the “Sundry Receipts” business component. Tell me more.
Select the “Receipt Information” link at the bottom of the “View Insurance Claim” page.
The “Receipt Details” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Claim No |
The number identifying the claim. |
Total Claim Amount |
The total amount claimed. |
Unsettled Amount |
The amount claimed that is yet to be settled. |
Claim Date |
The date on which the claim has been raised. |
Finance Book |
The code identifying the finance book in which the postings have been done. |
The system displays the following in the “Receipt Details” multiline:
Receipt No |
The number identifying the receipt that has been issued on the receipt of settlement. |
Receipt Date |
The date on which the receipt was made. |
Receipt Amount |
The amount received. |
Amount Considered |
The amount considered for the claim. |
Receipt Type |
The type of the receipt. |
Bank / Cash Code |
The code identifying the bank or cash account in which the postings have been done. |
Receipt Mode |
The mode in which the payment has been received. It could be “Check”, “Demand Draft”, “Direct Debit” or “Cash”. |
Viewing receipt details – An overview
The receipt raised is to acknowledge the receipt of the settlement. You can view the details of the claim like number identifying the claim, the date on which the claim was raised, the total amount claimed for settlement, the claimed amount that is yet to be settled and the finance book in which the settlement details are posted.
You can also view the details of the receipt like the number identifying the receipt, the date on which the receipt was raised, the amount received as settlement, the amount considered for settlement and the mode in which the payment was received. Details of the account in which the payment has been posted is also displayed.
