Attaching notes for reversing insurance claim

This page allows you to add any specific information about the insurance claim that has been reversed. You could enter details like the terms and conditions that govern the policy or the various clauses for which the policy gives coverage. You can also enter the reason for reversing the claim. The notes are saved along with the policy claim details.
Select the “Attach Notes” link at the bottom of the “Reverse Insurance Claim" page.
The “Attach Notes” page appears.
The system displays the following:

The code identifying the insurance policy. |

Claim No |
The code identifying the insurance claim that has to be reversed. |

Reversal No |
The code identifying the reversal of the insurance policy. |
Enter the following fields in the “Notes Detail” group box:

Standard Notes ID |
The code identifying the standard notes (Alphanumeric, 6). Mandatory. |

Help facility available |
Enter the description pertaining to the standard notes id in the text box provided alongside.
Click the “Save Std. Notes” pushbutton to save the standard note.
The system saves the standard notes ID along with the description.

Any important information to be noted regarding the reversal of the insurance claim, like the reason for reversing (Alphanumeric, 255). Mandatory |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to update the additional information regarding the reversal of the insurance claim.
The system saves the details of the notes along with the policy claim details.
