Basics of using a typical web page

This page allows you to view the depreciation adjustment details. You can view the document details that are generated while creating the depreciation adjustment. You can also view the asset information pertaining to the document.

The “View Depreciation Adjustment” page appears.

The system displays the following fields:

Document No.

The number identifying the document.

Transaction Date

The date on which the documents were generated.

Depreciation Book Code

The code identifying the depreciation book.

Finance Book

The code identifying the finance book in which the adjustment entries are posted.

Posting Cost Center

The code identifying the cost center, responsible for controlling the cost and in which the entries are posted.

The system displays the following fields in the “Asset Information” multiline.

Asset No.

The number identifying the asset.

Tag No.

The number identifying the asset tag.

Dr / Cr

Indicates that the depreciation charge is a debit or a credit balance.

Depreciation Charge

The depreciation charged on an asset.

CME Depreciation Charge

The depreciation charge for the Capital Maintenance Expenditure portion.

Remarks

Any remarks pertaining to the document.

The system displays the following fields below the multiline:

Depreciation Total

The total of all the depreciation charge in the multiline.

CME Depreciation Total

The CME depreciation total is incremented with all the depreciation charge amounts entered with debit and decremented by all depreciation charge amounts entered with credit. Computation CME Depreciation Total = All depreciation charges with Debit – All depreciation charges with Credit
