Help on Depreciation Rate Identifier
This help page allows you to search and select a depreciation rate identifier and transfer the details to the field where it is required. You can carry out the search using the asset class code, the status of the depreciation rate Id, the code identifying the depreciation rate Id and the rate specified for the rate Id. The system retrieves the depreciation rate details like the code identifying the depreciation rate Id, the description, the rate defined, the effective period of the rate and the status of the depreciation rate Id.
Click the lens icon provided next to the “Depreciation Rate Id” field.
The “Help on Depreciation Rate Identifier” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box.
Asset Class Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the asset class. The system loads all the asset class defined in the “Create Asset Class” activity of the “Asset Type Definition” business component, for selection. The system displays the first asset class by default on launch of the page. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list to select the status of the depreciation rate Id. The system displays “Active” by default on launch of the page. |
Depreciation Rate Id |
The code identifying the depreciation rate (Alphanumeric, 20). The depreciation ID must have been defined in the “Create Depreciation Setup” business component. |
Depreciation Rate |
The depreciation rate defined for the depreciation rate ID (Decimal). |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the depreciation rate details.
The system displays the following fields in the “Depreciation Rate Details” multline.
Depreciation Rate Id |
The code identifying the depreciation rate. |
Rate Id Description |
The textual description pertaining to the depreciation rate. |
Depreciation Rate |
The depreciation rate defined for the depreciation rate Id. |
Effective From Date |
The date from which the depreciation rate is effective. |
Expiration Date |
The date till which the depreciation rate ID is effective. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the depreciation rate for transfer.
Click the “Ok” pushbutton to transfer the details to the main page.
