This help page allows you to search and select a financial year and transfer the details to the field where it is required. You can carry out the search using the depreciation book code, the code identifying the financial year, the start date and the end date of the financial year and the textual description pertaining to the financial year. The system retrieves the financial year details based on the search criteria.
Click the lens icon provided next to the “Financial Year Code” field.
The “Help on Depreciation Calendar” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Depreciation Book Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the depreciation book. All the depreciation books defined in the “Set Depreciation Book” activity are listed in the drop-down list box. The system displays the “Corporate” depreciation book from the list by default on launch of the page. |

Financial Year Code |
The code identifying the financial year (Alphanumeric, 15). |

Financial Year Containing Date |
The date contained in the financial year (Date Format). The system retrieves the financial year, which coincides with the date specified here. |

Financial Year Start Date |
The start date of the financial year (Date Format). The system retrieves the financial year whose start date is similar to the date specified here. |

Financial Year End Date |
The end date of the financial year (Date Format). The system retrieves the financial year whose end date is similar to the date specified here. The end date must be greater than the start date. |

Description |
The textual description pertaining to the financial year (Alphanumeric, 100). The system retrieves the financial year whose description is similar to the date specified here. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the depreciation calendar. The statuses available are “All”, ”Active” and “Inactive”. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the details.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria.

Financial Year Code |
The code identifying the financial year. |

Description |
The textual description pertaining to the financial year. |

Start Date |
The start date of the financial year. |

End Date |
The end date of the financial year. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the financial year for transfer
Click the “Ok” pushbutton to transfer the details to the main page.
