Bifurcate Asset Tag – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to split the asset tags into further tags. You can specify the number identifying the asset whose respective tags are to be divided. You can also enter the number identifying the asset tag, whose tags have to be divided further. The system retrieves the other details of the tag specified. This page allows you to specify the textual description pertaining to the asset tag and the tag cost in the multiline. The system also calculates the tag book value and the net revalued cost.

The system generates a unique number for all the asset tags specified in the multiline. The system generates a unique document number based on the numbering type specified. The system also updates the login ID of the user and the system date along with the bifurcation details.
