Viewing assignment details for the resource
This page allows you to view the loading details of the selected resource. Resource loading . Tell me more.
Select the “View Resource Loading” link in the “Assign Work Order / Task(s)” page.
The “View Resource Loading” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date and time fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the “Resource Details” group box:
Resource # |
The resource for which the loading details are displayed. |
Resource Description |
The textual description of the resource. Zoom facility available. |
Resource Type |
The type of the resource, which could be “Equipment”, “Skills”, “Tools” or “Others”. |
Enter the following field:
Reference Date |
The starting date from which you wish to view the loading details for the resource (Date Format). |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the assignment details for the selected resource.
The system retrieves in the multiline, the work centers to which the resource is associated and the utilization of resource as a percentage for each day starting from the date entered in the “Reference Date” field.
The system displays the following fields in the “Loading Details in %” multiline:

The work center to which the resource is associated. |

The percentage of utilization of the resource on each day starting from the date specified in the “Reference Date” field. The loading is calculated as follows:
The loading is then calculated using the following formula: Resource Loading = (Assigned hours of the resource * 100) / (Available Hours of the resource * Productivity factor). |
Note: Productivity factor is the number that indicates the efficiency of the resource that is specified in the “Associate Work Center Attributes” activity of the “Work Center” business component. The productivity factor is assumed as ‘1’ if it is not already specified for the resource.

Select the “View Resource Loading Graph” link at the bottom of the page, to view the graphical representation of the resource load.
Viewing assignment details for the resource – An overview
This page allows you to view the loading details of the selected resource. Resource loading refers to the utilization of the resource in a day during the execution of the WO task or the work order. The loading is specified in percentage and calculated as follows:
For each resource, the number of hours for which the resource is available for the day (Available Hours) is calculated. This value is assumed to be 24 hours for resource types other than “Skill”. For “Skill” type of resource, this value is retrieved from the “HR Setup” business component.
The actual number of hours for which the resource is assigned (Assigned Hours) is retrieved from the “Assign Work Order / Task(s)” page.
The resource loading is then calculated using the following formula:

Note: Productivity factor is the number that indicates the efficiency of the resource that is specified in the “Associate Work Center Attributes” activity of the “Work Center” business component. The productivity factor is assumed as ‘1’ if it is not already specified.
In this page, the resource loading details are calculated with respect to the work center to which the resource is assigned. You can enter the reference date from which the loading details must be viewed.
Note: You can view the details only for 15 days at a time.
The utilization of the resource in a day during the execution of the work order or task can be viewed.
Enter the reference date for which you wish to view the resource loading in the “Reference Date” field.
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to view the utilization of the resource from the reference date.
