Selectively reserving parts for the work order – An overview

Plan Work Order - A summary of the activity

Selective reservation is done for a work order according to specific requirements. For example, if there is an urgent need for parts for a work order and the parts are not available in the inventory, you can remove the reservation of the same part from another work order and add the parts to the current work order. You can selectively reserve the part that you have selected in the “Plan Material” page.

The system retrieves all the work orders to which the part has been allocated, in the multiline. You can remove parts from one work order and reserve it for another work order. The system automatically adds or deducts the reserved quantity of the part from the respective work orders.
