This page enables you to view the details of the skills required for carrying out the work order as well as for the tasks associated to the work order. Tell me more.

The “View Skill Requirements” page appears.

The system displays the following details in the “Work Order Details” group box:

Work Order #

The work order for which the skill details are displayed.

Work Order Description

The textual description of the work order.

Zoom facility available.

Task #

Use the drop-down list box to select the task for which the estimated skill requirement details must be displayed. The system lists all the tasks that are already associated to the work order. The system displays the number as a combination of the task number and sequence number.

Leave this field blank to view the skill requirement details for the entire work order.

The system displays the following field:

Task Description

The textual description of the task.

Zoom facility available.

The system displays the following in the “Customer Details” group box:

Customer #

The number identifying the customer, who owns the aircraft.

Customer Name

The name of the customer owning the aircraft.

Customer Order #

The number identifying the order placed by the customer.

Aircraft Release Date

The date on which the aircraft should be released to the customer, after the completion of the work order.

Note: The "Customer #" and "Customer Name" fields are applicable only when the aircraft is not self-owned and the customer details are recorded in the system.

The system displays the following details in the “Skill Details” group box:

Skill #

The skill that is required for carrying out the task.

Skill Description

The textual description of the skill.

Est. Nos

The number of skills required for carrying out the maintenance task.

Time Unit

The unit of measurement for the skill requirement time, which could be “Minutes”, “Hours” or “Days”.

Est. Time

The number of hours, minutes or days for which the skill is required to complete the task.

Approval Reqd. (Y / N)

The system displays “Yes” or “No” to indicate whether the approval is required to utilize the skill for the task.

Sign Off (Y/N)

Viewing skills required for the work order – An overview

This page enables you to view the details of the skills required for carrying out the work order as well as for the tasks associated to the work order.

You can select the task and view the skill details. Details such as skill code, description, time unit, estimated time duration, the number of skills needed for the task or work order execution, estimated time required, whether approval is required or not and whether sign off is required or not, are displayed in the multiline. The details can be viewed either at the work order level or at the task level.
