Modifying work order quick codes
This page allows you to modify the status and description of the selected quick codes. The system updates the modifications and stores the name of the login user and the current server date as the last modified date.
Select the “Edit Quick Codes” link under the “Hangar Work Order” business component.
The “Edit Quick Codes” page appears.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for quick codes:
Quick Code Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the quick code that you need to retrieve. The system lists the options “Work Group Category” and “User Status”. The system retrieves all the quick codes of the type specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the quick codes irrespective of their type. The system displays “User Status” by default. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the quick code that you need to retrieve. The system lists the options “Active” and “Inactive”. The system retrieves all the quick codes of the status specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the quick codes irrespective of their status. The system displays “Active” by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to search for the quick codes.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:
Quick Code |
The quick code retrieved by the system. |
Modify the following details, if required:
Description |
The textual description of the quick code (Alphanumeric, 80). Mandatory. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box and the status of the quick code as “Active”, to activate the quick code. Select “Inactive”, to inactivate the quick code. |
Note: The quick code in “Inactive” status will not be available for further references in other activities.
The system displays the following fields:
Created By |
The name of the user who created the quick code. |
Created Date |
The date on which the quick code was created. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the quick code. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the quick code was last modified. |
Click the “Edit Quick Codes” pushbutton at the bottom of the page to update the modified details.
