Editing advanced search criteria to search for reference information on parts
This page allows you to modify the advanced filter criteria defined in the “Set Advanced Search Criteria” page. You can modify the details such as the part group, planning type, group type, group usage, expense type, issue basis, and user-defined details.
Select the “Edit Advanced Search Criteria” link from the previous page.
The “Edit Advanced Search Criteria” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Search ID |
The unique number that identifies the advanced filter criteria for which you wish to modify the details. |
Modify the following fields in the “Advanced Search Criteria” group box, if needed:
Part Group |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the part group. The system lists all the part groups defined with the values “Flight Log Book” and “Tech Log Book”. |
Planning Type |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the planning type. The system lists the options “Reorder Level”, “Min-Max”, “Disposition” and “None”. |
Group Type |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the group type. The system lists all the group types defined in the “Create Group Type” activity. |
Group Usage |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the group usage. The system lists the options "Maintenance", "Inventory", "Purchase", "Operation", "Sales" and Accounting & "Others": |
Expense Type |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the type of expense incurred while purchasing the part. The system provides the options “Capital” and “Revenue”. |
Issue Basis |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the issue basis on which the part is issued. The system lists the options “Returnable”, “Core Returnable” and “Non-Returnable”. |
Work Center # |
The number identifying the work center (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Prime Part # |
The number identifying the primary part (Alphanumeric, 40). |
User Defined Detail 1 |
Any user defined detail regarding the part (Alphanumeric, 25). |
User Defined Detail 2 |
Any user defined detail regarding the part (Alphanumeric, 25) |
Enter the following fields in the “Part Control Type” group box:
Sl No Controlled |
Check this box to indicate that the part is serial number controlled. |
Lot No Controlled |
Check this box to indicate that the part is lot number controlled. |
All |
Check this box to set the search criteria based on both part control types |
Note: If none of the options is checked, the system checks "All" in both in the above field by default.
Click the “Edit” pushbutton to edit the advanced search criteria.
