Setting options for occurrence reporting
Select the “Set Options” link under the “Occurrence Reporting” business component.
The “Set Options” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following fields in the “Numbering Options” group box:
Numbering Type for Occ. related PDR Disc. |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the numbering type for occurrence-related pilot defect report discrepancies. The system lists all the numbering types that are defined in the “Document Numbering Class” business component, for the transaction type “Occurrence Related PDR Discrepancy”. By default, this field is set to the default numbering type identified for the “Occurrence Related PDR Discrepancy” transaction, for the login organization unit. |

Use the drop-down list box to specify the numbering type for occurrence-related technical discrepancies. The system lists all the numbering types that are defined in the “Document Numbering Class” business component, for the transaction type “Occurrence Related Technical Log Discrepancy”. By default, this field is set to the default numbering type identified for the “Occurrence Related Technical Log Discrepancy” transaction, for the login organization unit. |
Enter the following field in the “Other Options” group box:
Default Time Zone for Occ. Reporting |
Use the drop-down list box to select the default time zone for occurrence reporting. The system lists all the time zones that are defined in the “Common Master” business component, mapped to the login organization unit. When an Occurrence is reported, time zone for all the date and time values reported will be considers based on the following:

Click the “Set Option” pushbutton, to set the options.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the option settings. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the option settings were last modified. |
The system updates the last modified date with the current server date and stores the current user as the user who last modified the option setting.
