Selecting occurrence report for modification
Select the “Edit Occurrence Report” link under the “Occurrence Reporting” business component.
The "Select Occurrence Report" page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
Enter the following in the "Direct Entry" group box, if you know the exact occurrence report number:

The number identifying the occurrence report to be modified (Alphanumeric, 40). |
Select the “Edit Occurrence Report” link displayed alongside to modify the occurrence report details.
To search for an occurrence report
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for an occurrence report:

The number identifying the occurrence report to be modified (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the occurrence report number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports having the number entered here. |
User Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the user-defined status of the occurrence report to be modified. The system lists all the quick codes of the type "User Status" defined in the “Create Flight Log / Occurrence Report Attributes” activity of the “Common Master” business component. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports with the user status entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the occurrence reports, irrespective of the user status. |
Occurrence Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the occurrence type. Mandatory. The system lists the options “Aircraft Related-Maint”, "Aircraft Related-Non Maint", “Personnel Related”, “Spill”, “Tool / Equipment”, “Vehicle Related”, “Scheduled Maintenance” and “Unscheduled Maintenance”. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports for the occurrence type selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the occurrence reports, irrespective of the occurrence type. |
Date of Occurrence |
The date on which the event occurred (Date Format). Mandatory. |
Business Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the operations business unit where the event occurred. Mandatory. The system lists all the quick codes of the type “Business Unit” that are defined in the “Create Flight Log / Occurrence Report Attributes” activity of the “Common Master” business component. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports associated to the business unit selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the occurrence reports, irrespective of the business unit. |
Customer Call Sign |
The code associated with every customer job (Alphanumeric, 20). The code entered here should be a valid customer call sign defined in the “Maintain Customer Call Sign Information” activity of the “Common Master” business component. You can enter the call sign in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the occurrence reports with the customer call sign entered here. |
Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number of the aircraft for which the occurrence is reported (Alphanumeric, 30). The number entered should be a valid aircraft registration number defined in the “Aircraft” business component. The system lists all the occurrence reports for the aircraft registration number entered here. Alternately, you can enter Nose # in the field. The smart search retrieves all the occurrence reports for the aircraft with the nose # similar to that specified in the field. |
Aircraft Model # |
The model to which the aircraft belongs (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports for the model number entered here. |
AOG? |
Use the drop-down list box and select “Yes” if the occurrence has caused grounding of the aircraft for aircraft-related activities or unscheduled maintenance. Else, select “No”. By default, the system leaves this field blank. |
Discrepancy # |
The discrepancy generated against the occurrence reporting (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the discrepancy number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the occurrence reports having the discrepancy number entered here. |
Occurrence Occurred During |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the activity during which the event occurred. Mandatory. The system lists the following options: § “Pilot Activity” – Select this option if the event occurred during pilot activity. § “AMT Activity” – Select this option if the event occurred during aircraft maintenance. § “Others”. – Select this option if the event occurred during any other general aircraft activity. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports associated to the activity selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the occurrence reports irrespective of the activity selected here. |
Phase of Operations |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the phase at which the incident took place. Mandatory. The system lists all the possible phases based on the value selected in the “Occurrence Occurred During” field. If the “Occurrence Occurred During” field is selected as “Pilot Activity”, the system lists the options “Pre-Flight”, “Pax Loading”, “Baggage Loading”, “Start”, “Before T/O”, “Hovering”, “During T/O”, “Climb”, “Cruise”, “Descent”, “Go Around”, “Landing – Normal”, “Landing – Precaut”., “Landing – Autorot”., “Landing – OEI”, “After Landing”, “Shut Down”, “Post Flight”, “Tied Down”, “IFR”, “Sling”, “Ground Run”, “Ops Chk-flt”, “Ground Handling”, “Routine Maint.”, “Parts Handling”, “Fueling”, “Driving” and “Others”. If “AMT Activity” or “Others” is selected for the “Occurrence Occurred During” field, the system lists the options “Pre-Flight”, “Start”, “Shut Down”, “Post Flight”, “Tied Down”, “Ground Run”, “Ground Handling”, “Routine Maint.”, “Parts Handling”, “Fueling”, “Driving” and “Others”. If the “Occurrence Occurred During” field is left blank, the system leaves this field blank. |

The code identifying the employee who reported the occurrence (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the employee code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports for the employee code entered here. |
Reporting Exe. Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the execution unit in which the occurrence is reported. The system lists all the organization units mapped to the current business component. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports associated to the reporting execution unit selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the occurrence reports, irrespective of the execution unit. |

Selecting occurrence report for modification - An overview
In this page, you can select an occurrence report, to modify its details. If you know the occurrence report number, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the occurrence report number, user status, occurrence date, business unit, customer call sign, aircraft registration number, aircraft model number, phase of operations and reporting execution unit. Details such as occurrence report, occurrence type and date, user status, business unit, aircraft registration and aircraft model number are displayed.
