This page allows you to identify employees who would be involved in looking after day-to-day operation of the library. One person would be the default library-in-charge. System will fetch the Primary Contact person, mapped for this library, and identify him/her as the default user (library-in-charge) . You can specify the user name, and set the default user name for the in-charge of the library.
Select the “Identify Library In-Charge” link in the “Maintain Library Information” page.

Date Format |
The format in which the date is displayed in this page. This format is displayed as defined in the “User Preference” business component. |
The system displays the following details:
Library # |
The number identifying the library. |
Library Name |
The name of the library. |
Enter the following details in the “User Details” multiline:
User Name |
The user name of the library in-charge (Alphanumeric, 25). Mandatory. Ensure that the user name entered here is unique and is mapped to a valid user in the “Employee Information” business component. |
Default? |
Use the drop-down list box to select “Yes” to set the default user name of the in-charge for the library. Else select the option “No”. The system displays “No” by default. Ensure that only one user has the default value set as “Yes”. |

The system displays the following details:
Employee # |
The employee number as recorded in employee information records of the organization for the user name entered. |
Employee Name |
The employee name as recorded in employee information records of the organization for the user name entered. |
Note: Ensure that atleast one row is selected in the multiline.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete a selected record.
Click the “Maintain Library In-Charge Info.” Pushbutton to define library in-charge.
The system performs the following:
displays an error message, if any other concurrent user tries to modify the user details.
defaults “Yes” in “Default?” field, if there exist a primary contact person for the library and if there is no other user whose default value is set.
