Viewing operational interruption details for journey log
This page allows you to view delay details for a journey log. Tell me more.
Select the “View Operational Interruption Details” link at the bottom of the “View Journey Log” page.
The “View Operational Interruption Details” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date & Time Format |
The format in which the date fields are to be entered. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. The time is displayed as HH:MM or HHMM, in 24 hour format. For example 11:00pm is displayed as 23:00 or 2300 and 10:45am is displayed as 1045 or 10:45 . |
The system displays the following fields in the “Flight Details” group box:
Journey Log # |
The journey log number for which the delay details are displayed. |
Status |
The status of the journey log which could be "Fresh", "Cancelled", "Approved", "Under Amendment" or "Amended". |
Enter the following field:
Line # |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the line number for which the delay details are to be viewed. The system lists all the line numbers that are mapped to the journey log. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve flight details pertaining to the journey log number.
The system displays the following:
Amendment# |
The number identifying the amended journey log. |
Aircraft Model# |
The model to which the aircraft belongs. |
From Station |
The station at which the leg of the journey starts. |
To Station |
The station at which the leg of the journey ends. |
From Date & Time |
The date and time at which the leg of the journey starts. |
To Date & Time |
The date and time at which the leg of the journey ends. |
Flight Status |
The flight status of the aircraft that could be any one of the following options: “On Scheduled”, “Delayed”, “Cancelled”, “Diverted”, “Air Turned Back”, “Ground Turned Back” or “Substituted”. |
The system displays the following details in the “Interruption Details” group box:
Reason # |
A unique number identifying the reason for flight interruption reported during the journey of the aircraft. |
Reason Category |
The category under which the reason for flight interruption is classified. |
ATA # |
The ATA number on which the delay is reported. |
Reason Description |
The textual description of the reason for the delay reported. |
Reason for interruption |
The textual description of the reason for interruption reported on the flight operation. |
Action Taken |
The action taken to erase or minimize the delay of flight operation. |
Remarks |
Any additional remarks pertaining to the interruption of flight operation. |
Reporting Status |
The reporting status of the interruption. |
The system displays the following in the “Delay Details” multiline:
Delay Category |
The category of the delay. The system displays one of the following: “Passenger and Baggage”, “Cargo and Mail”, “Aircraft and Ramp Handling”, “Technical and Aircraft Equipment”, “Damage to Aircraft & EDP/Automated Equipment Failure”, “Flight Operation and Crewing”, “Weather”, “Airport and Government Authorities”, “Reactionary” and “Miscellaneous”. |
Delay # |
The number identifying the delay. |
Delay Description |
The textual description of the delay. |
Delay On |
The type of the delay for which the details are recorded. |
ATA # |
The ATA number on which the delay is reported. |
Time Unit |
The unit in which the time duration is measured, which could be “Days”, “Hours” and “Minutes”. |
Delay duration |
The duration of the delay. |
Reason for Delay |
The reason for not meeting the scheduled timings. |
Action Taken |
The action taken to erase or minimize the delay. |
Remarks |
Any remarks or comments about the delay. |
Reporting Status |
The reporting status of the interruption. |
Viewing delay details for journey log – An overview
In this page, you can view the delays that have occurred during the journey. Delay details such as the delay on departure and the delay on arrival can be viewed. You can also view the category to which the delay belongs, delay code, its description, whether the delay occurred while arrival or departure, and remarks.
