Select the “Record Fuel/Oil Uplift Details” link under the “Flight Log” business component, or alternatively select the hyperlinked “Fuel / Oil Log #” field in the “Select Fuel / Oil Record” page of the “Update Fuel / Oil Uplift Details” activity.
The “Record Fuel / Oil Log” page appears.
The system displays the following field.
Date & Time Format |
The format in which the date and time must be displayed. This format is displayed from the “User Preference” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following field in the “Fuel / Oil Log Details” group box.

A unique system generated number identifying the Fuel / Oil log transaction reported for the aircraft. |
Enter the following details:
Numbering Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the numbering type for generating number for Fuel / Oil log transaction. Mandatory. The system lists all the numbering types that are mapped for the Fuel/ Oil transaction in the “Document Numbering Class” business component. If a Fuel / Oil log number exists, then the system defaults the numbering type mapped for the Fuel / Oil log transaction defined in the “Document Numbering Class” business component. Else, the system leaves the field blank by default. |
Aircraft Reg # |
The number identifying the aircraft for which the Fuel / Oil log details are to be recorded (Alphanumeric, 30). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if the reference document type is “Others”. Ensure that the value entered here is a valid aircraft in status other than “Frozen” as defined in the “Aircraft” business component. Help facility available. |
Uplift Date & Time |
The date and time at which the oil is uplifted in the flight before departure (Date and Time Format). Mandatory. The date entered here must be earlier than or equal to the current date and time. By default, the system displays current date and time. |
Reference Document Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the reference document for which the Fuel / Oil log report has to be recorded. Mandatory. The reference document could be “Execution Ref #” or “Others”. The system defaults the value “Execution Ref #”, if the Fuel / Oil uplift transaction has a reference to the execution ref #. Else, the system displays the value “Others” by default. |
Reference Doc. # |
The number identifying the reference document (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. Ensure that the value entered here is a valid Execution Ref # in “Planned”, "In Progress", "Completed", and “Closed” status for the specified aircraft, if the reference document type is selected as “Execution Ref #”. Help facility available. |
Note: You cannot modify the value entered in the “Reference Document #”, and “Aircraft Reg #” fields, if a Fuel / Oil log number is available for the reference document.
For Offline Base operations, ensure the following:
If Reference Document Type is selected as “Execution Ref #", the Aircraft Reg. # / Work center # corresponding to the specified A/C Maint. Exe. Ref. # must be offline.
If Fuel / Oil Log # is available, aircraft / work center corresponding to the fuel / oil log # is offline.
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the fuel and oil uplift details for the aircraft.
The system performs the following details on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:
If the reference document is “Execution Ref #”, then the system checks whether status of the Execution Referene # is “Planned”, “Inprogress”, “Completed” or “Closed”.
The system retrieves all the position codes of type “Engine” and “APU” along with the part # and part description from the “Configuration” business component, and updates in the “Oil Uplift Details” tab page. The system retrieves only those parts that are identified as Engine & APU at first levels of configuration.
For the aircraft registration number specified in the header, the system retrieves all the ‘Active’ item numbers defined in the “Maintain Flight Log Parameters” page of the “Aircraft” business component for the aircraft model and configuration class combination along with the “UOM” for the part # associated to the Item number, and updates in the “Oil Uplift Details” tab page.
If there is no item # defined for the Aircraft Model # - Configuration Class combination in the “'Maintain Flight Log Parameters” page of the “Aircraft” business component', then the system retrieves the Item numbers defined at aircraft model level.
If there are no item numbers defined at Aircraft Model - Configuration combination or at aircraft model level, then the system does not retrieve any of the items in the “Oil Uplift Details – Other Positions” multiline in the “Oil Uplift Details” tab page.
