Viewing intermixing rule details for model configuration – An overview
The intermixing rule defines the list of dependent position codes and the dependent part numbers for the reference position code and the reference part number. The rule depicts the dependencies that exist among the various position codes in a model, with respect to the part numbers that can be fitted in them. In other words, the intermixing rule states that, whenever the reference part number is fitted in the reference position code, the dependent position codes must have the associated dependent part numbers fitted in them.
In this page, the system displays the reference position code selected in the “View Model Configuration” page. You can select the reference part number for which the dependent part and position codes are to be displayed. In the multiline the system displays the dependent position codes and the dependent part numbers for the reference position code and the reference part number. Also, the system displays whether the intermixing rule is reversible or not and the level in which the dependent position code and part number occur.
