Viewing piece part details for component configuration

The details of the piece parts identified for the component configuration can be viewed in this page. You can view the piece part number, piece part description, quantity,, lot number and serial number, whether the piece part needs to be tracked or not and the user-defined prefix for the piece part position.

Select the “View Piece Part List for Components” link at the bottom of the “View Component Configuration” page.

The “View Piece Part List for Components” page appears.

The system displays the following details in the “Component Details” group box:

Component #	The component ID for which the piece part details are displayed.
Part #	The part to which the component belongs. Note
Serial #	The serial number of the component.
Mfr. Part #/ Mfr. #	The manufacturer part number and the manufacturer number of the part associated with the component. Note
Part Description	The textual description of the component part.

The system displays the following details in the “Piece Part Details” multiline:

Note: The latest saved data as available in “Edit Piece Part List for Components” screen are retrieved in “View Piece Part List for Components”.

Seq #	The sequence number for the piece part.
Position #	The position number corresponding to the piece part.
Position Description	The textual description of the position.
Reference Part #	The reference part number in the piece part configuration.
Reference Mfr. Part #	The reference manufacturer part number in the piece part configuration.
Reference Part Mfr. #	The manufacturer number of the reference part # in the piece part configuration.
Existing Part #	The currently existing part number in the piece part configuration.
Existing Mfr. Part #	The reference manufacturer part number in the piece part configuration.
Existing Part Mfr. #	The manufacturer number of the existing part in the piece part configuration.

Note: The manufacturer part # and manufacturer # fields are displayed only if the Enable Manufacturer Part # control in transaction" parameter is set to ”Yes” in the Logistics Common Master' business component, in the Set Inventory Process Parameters activity of the Logistics Common Master component.

Part Description	The textual description of the piece part as available in the “Edit Piece Part list for Components” page.
Ref. Quantity	The number of piece parts identified for the component configuration.
Existing Qty.	The quantity of existing parts identified for the component configuration.
UOM	The unit of measurement for the piece part.
Position Type	The type of the position code, which could be “Engine”, “APU”, “Landing Gear” or “Others” or any pre-defined values as available in the “Edit Piece Part List for Components” page.
Position Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the position code of the piece part. Mandatory. The system lists the values “Active” and “Inactive”. By default, the system displays “Active”.
