Viewing component configuration revision history
This page allows you to view the revision details of the selected component configuration. Tell me more
Select the “View Configuration Revision History” link at the bottom of the “Select Component” page.
The “View Configuration Revision History” page appears.
Note: Upon launching this page, the system lists the details of all the revision numbers prior to the current revision number of the component configuration.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
The system displays the following details in the “Component Details” group box:
Component # |
The component ID for which the configuration revision history details are displayed. |
Part # |
The part to which the component belongs. Note |
Mfr. Part #/Mfr. # |
The manufacturer part # and the manufacturer # of the part to which the component belongs. Note |
Serial # |
The serial number assigned to the component. |
The system displays the following details in the “Configuration Revision Details” multiline:
Revision # |
The revision number of the component configuration. |
Revised By |
The name of the user who revised the component configuration. |
Revision Date |
The date on which the component configuration was revised. |
Approved By |
The name of the user who approved the component configuration. |
Approved Date |
The date on which the component configuration was approved. |
Base Line? |
The system displays “Yes” or “No” in this field to indicate whether the component configuration is a baseline configuration or not. |
Comments |
Any additional remark pertaining to the component configuration. |
Viewing component configuration revision history – An overview
This page allows you to view the revision details of the selected component configuration. Details such as the revision number of the configuration, the name of the user who revised the configuration, the date of revision, the name of the user who approved the configuration and the date of approval are displayed. You can also view other details such as whether the component configuration is a baseline configuration or not, and the comments pertaining to the changes made to the component configuration.
