This page allows you to view the details of parts that are replaced in the selected position code.  Tell me more

The “View Part Number Modification History” page appears.

Note: Upon launching this page, the system lists the details of all the parts that were previously associated to the position code.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following details in the “Component Details” group box:

Component #

The component ID for which the part modification details are displayed.

Revision #

The revision number of the component configuration.

Part #

The part to which the component belongs. Note

Mfr. Piece Part #/Mfr. #

The manufacturer part # and the manufacturer # of the piece part that is identified for the component configuration. Note

Serial #

The serial number of the component.

The system displays the following details in the “Position Details” group box:

Position Code

The position code in the component configuration for which the part modification details are displayed.

Existing Part #

The part number that is currently associated to the position code. Note

Existing Mfr. Part #/ Existing Part Mfr. #

The manufacturer part # and manufacturer # of the part currently attached to the position code. Note

NHA Mfr. Part #/ NHA Part Mfr. #

The manufacturer part # and manufacturer # of the parent part or NHA.  Note

Level Code

The code identifying the level at which the position code and the existing part occurs in the component configuration hierarchy.

The system displays the following details in the “Part Modification Details” group box:

Previous Part #

The part that was previously associated to the position code. Note

Previous Mfr. Part #

The manufacturer part # of the part previously attached to the position code. Note

Viewing part modification history for component configuration – An overview

View Component Configuration - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to view the details of parts that are replaced in the position code selected in the “View Component Configuration” page. You can view the part numbers that were originally associated to the position code in the component configuration, which have been replaced. The parts associated to the position codes change when you make changes to the part configuration. The configuration changes are triggered by the release of “Engineering Orders”. For more details on creating engineering orders, refer the topic “Creating direct engineering order – An overview” under the “Engineering Order” business component.

In this page, the system displays details such as the revision number of the component configuration with respect to the previous part numbers, the date of revision and the reference number of the engineering order.
