Using Online Help

This page allows you to view the details of parts that are replaced in the selected position code. Tell me more

The “View Part Number Modification History” page appears.

Date Format

The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following field in the “Aircraft Details” group:

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft registration number for which the part modification details are displayed.

Configuration Class

The configuration class associated to the aircraft.

Revision #

The revision number of the aircraft configuration.

The system displays the following field in the “Part Details” group box:

Level Code

The level at which the position code and the existing part occurs in the aircraft configuration hierarchy.

Position Code

The position code in the aircraft configuration for which the part modification details are displayed.

Existing Part #

The part number that is currently placed in the position code.

The system displays the following fields in the “Part Modification Details” multiline:

Previous Part #

The part number that was previously placed in the position code.

NHA

The next higher assembly or the parent part number of the part displayed in the “Previous Part #” field.

Revision #

The revision number of the aircraft configuration when the part was previously associated to the position code.

Revision Date

Viewing part modification history for aircraft configuration – An overview

View Aircraft Configuration - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to view the details of parts that are replaced in the position code selected in the “View Aircraft Configuration” page. You can view the part numbers that were originally associated to the position code in the aircraft configuration, which have been replaced due to engineering orders. An engineering order is a document, which contains information regarding the various engineering changes that have to be carried out on the maintenance object (model, aircraft, part or component). Typically an engineering change involves modification of the part numbers. For more details on creating engineering orders, refer the topic “Creating direct engineering order – An overview”.

In this page, the system displays the level code, position code and the existing part number. Details such as the part numbers that were previously fitted in the position code, the parent part number, the revision number, revised date and the engineering order number that caused the revision are displayed in the multiline.
