This page allows you to view the details of the serial numbers that are permitted for a particular position code in the configuration of the aircraft. The permissible serial number information is already defined for the aircraft configuration in the “Edit Permissible Serial # List” page. You can view those details in this page.

The “View Permitted Serial # List” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Aircraft Configuration Details” group box:

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft registration number for which the permissible serial number details are displayed

Aircraft Model #

The model to which the aircraft is associated.

Revision #

The revision number of the aircraft configuration

Configuration Class

The configuration class to which the aircraft model is associated.

The system displays the following fields in the “Reference Position Details” group box:

Level Code

The level number of the reference position code and its associated part number.

Ref. Position Code

The reference position code, for which the permissible serial number details are displayed.

Reference Part #

The part associated to the reference position code.

Restriction Type

Indicates whether the serial number is allowed or not at the reference position code.

The system displays the following fields in the “Restricted Serial # List” multiline:

Part #

The number identifying the part to which the serial numbers belong. This part number can be one of the following:

  • The part number associated to the ‘Reference Position Code’ in the Aircraft configuration

  • The part number that is identified, as ‘Alternate Part Number’ for the reference part number in the “Part Administration” business component.

  • The part number that is identified, as ‘Position Based Interchangeable Part Number’ for the reference part number and position code in the “Edit Part Interchangeability Rules” page for the current aircraft configuration.

Part Description

The textual description of the part

Part Relationship

The type of relationship with the part in “Reference Part #” field which could be one of the following:

  • Reference Part – indicates that the part number in the “Part #” field is associated to the reference position code of the aircraft configuration.

  • Pos. Interchangeable – indicates that the part number is identified as the interchangeable part for the reference position code in the aircraft configuration interchangeability rules

  • Alternate Part # - indicates that the part number is identified as alternate part number for the reference part number in the “Part Administration” business component.

The starting number in the range of manufacturer serial numbers which can be allowed at the reference position code
