Viewing intermixing rule details for aircraft configuration

This page allows you to view the intermixing rule details defined for aircraft configuration. Tell me more

Select the “View Part Intermixing Rules” link at the bottom of the “View Aircraft Configuration” page.

The “View Part Intermixing Rules” page appears.

The system displays the following field in the “Aircraft Configuration Details” group box:

Aircraft Reg #	The aircraft registration number for which the intermixing rule details are displayed.
Aircraft Model #	The aircraft model number associated to the aircraft.
Revision #	The revision number of the aircraft configuration.
Level Code	The level at which the reference position code and the associated part number occurs in the aircraft configuration hierarchy.
Configuration Class	The configuration class associated to the aircraft.
Ref. Position Code	The reference position code for which the dependent position codes are displayed.

Enter the following field:

Reference Part #

Use the drop-down list box to select the part associated to the position code, for which the dependent position codes must be displayed. The system lists all the position based part numbers and interchangeable part numbers defined in the “Part Administration” business component.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the details of the intermixing part details that are already entered for the selected reference part number.

The system displays the following fields in the “Intermixing Rules” multiline:

Dependent Position Code	The position code that is dependent on the reference position code and the reference part number.
Dependent Part #	The part number that must be fitted in the dependent position code, when the reference part number is fitted in the reference position code.
Reversible	Indicates whether the intermixing rule is reversible or not. The system displays one of the following:
	Yes – Indicates that the reference position code and the reference part number can act as the dependent position code and the dependent part number, for the position code and part number contained in this multiline row.
	No – Indicates that the reversal of the dependency relationship is not possible.
Level Code	The level at which the dependent position code and part number occurs in the aircraft configuration hierarchy.
Remarks	The remarks regarding the configuration.

Viewing Intermixing rule details for aircraft configuration – An overview

The intermixing rule defines the list of dependent position codes and the dependent part numbers for the reference position code and the reference part number. The rule depicts the dependencies that exist among the various position codes in an aircraft, with respect to the part numbers that can be fitted in them. In other words, the intermixing rule states that, whenever the reference part number is fitted in the reference position code, the dependent position codes must have the associated dependent part numbers fitted in them.

In this page, the system displays the reference position code selected in the “View Aircraft Configuration” page. You can select the reference part number for which the dependent part and position codes are to be displayed. In the multiline the system displays the dependent position codes and the dependent part numbers for the reference position code and the reference part number. Also, the system displays whether the intermixing rule is reversible or not and the level in which the dependent position code and part number occur.
