Viewing component replacement history
This page allows you to view the component replacements performed for a particular position code in the aircraft configuration. Tell me more
Select the “View Component Replacement History” link at the bottom of the “View Aircraft Configuration” page.
The “View Component Replacement History” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Parent Details” group box:
Aircraft Reg # |
The aircraft registration number selected in the main page. |
Manufacturer Serial # |
The manufacturer of an aircraft gives the MSN or the manufacturer’s serial number at the time of production. |
Variable Tab # |
The variable tab number is one of the identifiers of the aircraft. |
Nose # |
The nose number of the aircraft is an aircraft identifier, which is primarily used by the marketing department of an airline. |
Component # |
The component ID of the part. |
Part # |
The part number currently fitted in the position code. |
Note: The system displays only the component ID’s of the part that was previously fitted to the position code in the multiline.
If this field is blank, the system displays all the component ID’s (of different part) that was previously fitted in the position code.
Serial # |
The serial number for the part. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Position Details” group box:
Level Code |
The level code corresponding to the position code. |
Position Code |
The position code associated to the aircraft configuration. |
Position Type |
The type of the component to be placed in the position code, which could be “Engine ”, “APU”, “Landing Gear” or “Others”. |
Position Code Status |
The status of the position code, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Component Mandatory |
Indicates whether the fixing of component is mandatory in the position code. The system displays either “Yes” or “No”. |
NHA |
The next higher assembly or the parent part. |
The system display the following fields in the “Initialization Details” group box:
Attachment status |
Indicates the attachment status of the position code. The system displays one of the following option:
The system displays “None” if no component is attached to the position code. This option can be displayed only during initial configuration of the aircraft. |
Date & Time |
The date and time on which the component replacement transaction is performed. |
The system displays the following field in the “Replacement Details” multiline:
Component # |
The component ID that was previously attached to the position code or removed from the position code. |
Part # |
The part number of the component ID. |
Serial # |
The serial number of the part. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Transaction # |
The number identifying the transaction which has caused the removal or replacement of the component in the position code |

Transaction Type |
The type of the transaction which could be “Replaced”, “Attached” etc. |
Transaction Date |
The date on which the transaction took place. |
Transaction By |
The name of the employee who performed the component replacement transaction. |
Org. Unit # |
The organization unit where the transaction was performed. |
Remarks |
Any comments or remarks pertaining to the component replacement transaction. |
File Name |
The file name of the document. |

Viewing component replacement history - An overview
This page allows you to view the component replacements performed for a particular position code in the aircraft configuration. You can view the aircraft and position code details for which the component replacement transactions are to be viewed. The system displays the component that was previously fitted in the position code or removed from the position code, transaction number, which has caused the component replacement, and transaction type which could be “Attached” or “Removed”. Also the name of the employee who performed the component replacement transaction and the organization unit where the transaction took place can be viewed.
