Defining Workflow Steps
This page can be used to define multiple steps for authorization and also, intermediate states of the document for the authorization process.
Select the ‘Introduce Workflow Steps’ link at the bottom of the ‘Define Authorization Process - Choose Task’ page.
The “Define Workflow Steps” page appears.
The system displays the following fields:
Component Name |
The name of the component in which the task is present. |
Activity Name |
The name of the activity in which the task is present. |
Task Name |
The name of the task for which the authorization process needs to be defined. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline:
Workflow Step |
The name of the intermediate step for the document (Alphanumeric, 10). |
Workflow Step Description |
A detailed description of workflow step (Alphanumeric, 40). |
The system displays the following field:
Application State |
The value displayed in this column indicates whether the state mentioned in the workflow step column is an application state or not. The system displays "Yes" if it is an application state and ‘No’ if it is not. |
Note: The final state of the document is already defined as the default state for the selected task. This state is called as the "Application State".
Click the ‘Save’ pushbutton to save the details of the intermediate steps.
Click the ‘Delete’ pushbutton to delete the details.
You can define multiple steps for authorization. The task is attached to an application state by default. This application state must be the final state of the document. The user can define intermediate states for the document using this page.
