Specify Users
This page can be used to specify the list of users.
Select the ‘Specify Users’ link at the bottom of the ‘User Identification’ page.
The 'Specify Users' page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields must be entered in this page. The specified format is DD-MM-YYYY only. |
Component Name |
The name of the component in which the task is present. |
Activity Name |
The name of the activity in which the task is present. |
Task Name |
The name of the task for which the authorization process needs to be defined. |
Effective From |
The date from which the path is effective. |
Effective To |
The expiry date for the path. |
Path ID |
Unique id of the path to which the state is attached. |
Applicable to Org Unit |
The organization unit to which the resource rule is applicable. |
State |
The name of the state. |
State Description |
The description of the state. |
Resource Rule ID |
Unique id of the resource rule defined in the ‘User Identification’ page. If the User Identification Basis is “Direct Entry”, the system displays “Not Applicable-“. |
Resource Rule Description |
The description of the resource rule. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline:
Profile Name |
The name of the profile (Alphanumeric, 30). Select the lens icon near the ‘Profile Name’ to launch ‘Help on Profile’ page. The profile name can be selected from this page. |
Action Required |
Use the drop-down list box to specify who should perform the action. Select "By All" to indicate that all users need to perform the action, else select "By AnyOne" to indicate that any user can perform the action. |
Note: If a value is specified for the "Profile Name" field, the ‘Action Required‘ field must not be left empty.
Modify the following fields in the multiline, if required:
Org. Unit Description |
Use the drop-down list box to select the description of the user’s organization unit. |
User Name |
The name of the user (Alphanumeric, 30). Select the lens icon near the ‘User Name’ to launch ‘Help on User’ page. The username can be selected from this page. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline:
Proxy Org. Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to select the organization unit in which the proxy user would perform the task. |
Proxy User Name |
The name of the proxy user who would perform the action in the absence of the specified user (Alphanumeric, 30). Click on the lens icon near the ‘Proxy User Name’ to launch the ‘Help on User’ page. The user name can be selected from this page. |
Click the ‘Save’ pushbutton to save the details.
Click the ‘Delete’ pushbutton to delete the details.
You can map a user or a profile for direct path or for a resource rule. In the absence of the specified user, a proxy user can also perform the action.
