This activity helps modify the default values for Role, OUinstance and Language for a User.

What the activity comprises

This activity comprises Role, OU Instance and Language.

Prerequisites

• The Users, OU Instances and Roles should have been defined.

• Mapping between the User and Role should exist.

• Mapping between the Role and OU should exist.

Working with the screen

• This activity facilitates the modification of default settings in terms of OUinstance, Role and Language for a user.

• It is available under Security Component.

• On launch of the screen, the role combo, OUinstance combo and language combo are filled with available data at the back end and combos are defaulted to logged on role, OUinstance and language, respectively.

• After selecting the desired role, OUinstance and language, the user can click the "Update Modified Details" button to update the old default values with the selected values.

Description of the fields in the screen

This screen has 3 fields namely ’Role Description’, 'OUInstance Name’ and ‘Language’.

Tasks that can be carried out with this screen

• Fetch Default Role,OU and Language for the Logged On User.

• Update Default Role,OU and Language for the Logged On User.

• Fetch OU Instance Name for a particular role.
