Asset Insurance Information

This page allows you to view the insurance reports pertaining to the insurance details, the assets that are insured in the company and the assets that are not insured in the company. This page allows you to select the company code based on which the corresponding finance book values are loaded. In this page you can select the asset classes for which you want to view the insurance information report. You can specify a range of asset numbers to select an asset from which you want to view the report. You can specify the date on which the report is generated. You can select the insurance company from which the insurance is taken. You can also select the policy type to view the type of policy taken on the asset and also select the status of the policy to view the report.

Select the “Asset Insurance Information” link under “Reports – Fixed Assets Management”.

The “Asset Insurance Information” page appears.

Enter the following fields:

Company Code

Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the company for which you want to view the asset insurance information report. All the active company codes that are deployed in the login organization unit will be available for selection.

Note: Based on the selection made in the “Company Code”, the corresponding “Finance Book” values will get loaded.

Finance Book	Use the drop-down list box to select the finance book for which you want to view the asset insurance information report. All the finance books that have been deployed in the login organization unit of the company will be available for selection in the ascending order.
Asset Class From	Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying from which asset class you want to view the asset insurance information report. All the values that have been deployed in the “Asset Type Definition Component” will be available for selection. The system by default displays the first value loaded.
To	Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying to which asset class you want to view the asset insurance information report. All the values that have been deployed in the “Asset Type Definition Component” will be available for selection. The system by default displays the first value loaded.
Asset No. From	The starting number in the range of numbers identifying the asset of the company (Alphanumeric, 18). The assets must be defined in the “Asset Capitalization Component”.

Note: The number entered in this field must be before the value entered in the “To” field.

To	The ending number in the range of numbers identifying the asset of the company (Alphanumeric, 18). The assets must be defined in the “Asset Capitalization Component”.

Note: The number entered in this field must be equal to or greater than the number entered in the “Asset No. From” field.

As on Date	The date on which the asset insurance information report is being generated (Date Format). The date must be the current system date. The system date by default will be displayed on the launch of the page.
Insurance Company	Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the insurance company from which you want to view the asset insurance information report. All the insurance company codes that have been defined in the “Asset Insurance Component” will be available for selection.
Policy Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the type of policy for which you want to view the asset insurance information report. All the policy types that have been defined in the “Quick Codes Component” will be available for selection.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the policy. You can select from “Draft”, “Fresh”, “Active”, “Renewed” and “Closed”.
	Draft – indicates a newly created policy for which the payment information has to be added.
	Fresh - indicates that the details of the policy have been entered along with the payment information.
	Active – indicates that the newly created policy has been authorized.
	Renewed – indicates that the created policy has been renewed.
	Closed – indicates that the created policy has been closed.

Click the “Asset Insurance Details” push button to view the asset insurance details report.

The system allows you to view the insurance details report for the assets of the company. You can view the details for the values entered. The report displays the insurance details based on the asset number. You can also view the tag number and the tag cost of the asset. The report also displays insurance details like the policy number, the type of policy taken, the insurable value on the asset, the premium amount payable, the frequency of payment and the outstanding claims on the asset. The total is computed and displayed at the end.

Click the “Asset Insurance Policy Report” push button to view the asset insurance policy report.

The system allows you to view the insurance policy report for the assets of the company. You can view the kind of policy taken for the assets. You can view the details for the values entered. The report displays the insurance policy based on the policy number. You can also view the name of the insurance company from which the policy is taken, the effective dates of the policy, the total policy amount, the premium amount payable towards the policy and the frequency of the payment. You can also view any outstanding claims towards the policy and the status of the policy.

Click the “Asset Not Insured” push button to view the asset not insured report.

The system allows you to view the list of not insured assets in the company. You can view the details for the values entered. The report displays the not insured assets based on the asset number. You can also view the asset description, the tag number and tag description of the asset, the tag cost, the asset class of the asset and the in service date of the asset.
