Ensure that you are in the “Record Position Competencies” page.
Select the help icon beside the “Position Code” field.
The “Help on Position” page appears.
The system displays the following details on top of the page.
Unit Structure Setup |
The name of the organization unit in which unit structure activities are processed for the login employment unit. |
Department |
The department applicable to the position. |
Job |
The job applicable to the position. |
A blank multiline appears, containing the following fields: “Position Code”, “Position Title”, “Competencies Defined” and a “Select” check box.
The system displays in the multi line, the details of the positions applicable to the specified department-job combination.
Click on the “Select” checkbox corresponding to the required position details. After selecting the required position record from the multi line, select the “OK” pushbutton.
The “Record Position Competencies” page reappears.
The selected position code is displayed in the “Position Code” field.
Through this page you can get help pertaining to the position details.
