Through this page, you can choose the organization units to which the information you created in the “Create Job” activity will be applicable. Unit you choose the organization units, the activity information will not be applicable to any organization unit, including the setup organization unit you had already chosen in the “Unit Structure Setup” drop-down list box in the “Create Job” page.

Note: You can choose the organization units from the current page, provided you had specified “Selective Org. Units” from the “Applicable To” field of the “Create Job” page. Otherwise, you must choose the organization units from the previous page, by selecting either “Login Org. Unit” or “All Org. Units” from the “Applicable To” field of the “Create Job” page.

Essentially, a setup organization unit is an organization unit where you define master information. Other organization units access information from this setup organization unit; these organization units are called applicable OUs. A behind-the-scenes application called the Component Interaction Model identifies and stores,

• The organization unit which is the setup organization unit

• The organization units that are the applicable organization units for the setup OU

In this page, you can select the specific organization units to which the information you define in the “Create Job” activity will be applicable. The system allows you to select from only the list of applicable organization units for the setup unit you chose in the “Create Job” page. Tell me more.

• Select the  “Org. Unit Mapping ” link from the “Create Job” page.

• The  “Org. Unit Mapping” page appears.

• The following fields are displayed.

Unit Structure Setup	The unit structure setup value selected in the previous page.
Date Format	The date format from the previous page. More details
Code	The code entered in the previous page.
Description	The description of the item.

Note: If you chose “Login Org. Units” or “All Org. Units” from the “Applicable To” field from the previous page, you can only view details in this page.

• Enter the following search criteria values, in one or both of the following fields.

Employment Unit Code	To view the employment units containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the employment units.
	Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, E1*, will search for those employment units that start with E1. Other example, are E1, E1 and E1*
	To view all employment unit descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the employment unit description.
Employment Unit Description	Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, S*, will search for those employment unit descriptions that start with S. Other example are s, S*n, and *s*.

• Select the “Search” pushbutton.

• The system displays the following fields, for the records that satisfy your search criteria.

Employment Unit Code	The code of each employment unit where the Employment Information component is deployed.
Employment Unit Description	The description of the employment unit.

• Check the “Select” box of each employment unit record in the multiline, which must be selected.

• Select “Yes” in the “Map” drop-down list box in the multiline record.

• Select the “Save” pushbutton.
