Select the “Create Job Level ” option from the left pane.
The “Create Job Level” page appears.
Select the name of the organization unit group for which you want to create the job level, from the “Unit Structure Setup” drop down list box.

The system displays the following details of the available job levels in the “Job Level Details” multiline: “Job Level Code”, “Job Level Description”, “Job Level Long Description”.
If the record is entered for the first time, the system displays a blank multiline. The job level you create would be the first job level.
You can insert the new job level between any two existing job levels.
To insert the job level between any two existing job levels, enter the following details.
Insert Job Level Below |
The job level below which you want to insert the new job level. From the drop down list box, select the code of the job level below which you want to insert the new job level. For example, if you select 04, the system inserts the new job level below this code and assigns 05 as the code for the new job level. And all the other job levels below will be incremented by 1. |
Job Level Short Description |
A brief description of the job level. For example, if all programmers are mapped to the same job level, you can specify the short description as PGR. |
Job Level Long Description |
A more elaborate description of the job level. |
Comments |
Any additional comments pertaining to the job level details. |
Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the details entered.
