Training General Information Unit

Select the organization unit in which you must create training general information groups. The drop-down list box displays all the organization units where you have permission to create training general information groups. These organization units are called setup OUs.

A setup organization unit is an organization unit in which you normally define master information. There are other organization units that can access information from this setup organization unit.

Language

The system displays the language in which the login user logged in. In other words, this refers to the language you selected in the login screen, to access this activity.

From the drop-down list box, select the language in which you require to edit the payroll calendar record.

4      Select the venue, either through the “Direct Entry” group box or   through the “Search Criteria” group box.

 

To select through Direct Entry

Use this method if you know the complete code of the venue

4      Enter the code of the venue that must you want to viewbe modified or deleted, in the “Faculty Code” field.

4      Select the “View External Venue” hyperlink.

4      The “View External Venue” page appears. All details of the selected record are displayed.

4      To view the external venue, refer to the topic “Viewing External Venue”.

 

To select through Search Criteria

Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the venue code or the name of the venue. Enter these characters in the “Search Criteria” group box. The system will fetch those records that contain these characters in their codes or/ descriptions. Search based on wild card characters is also supported. To narrow your search to the closest matching records, you can also enter search criteria for the venue name.

Venue Code

To view the venue codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the venue codes.

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, EXVEN1*, will search for those venue codes that start with EXVEN1. Other examples are *EXVEN-1, and EV*1.

Venue Name

The name of the venue. To view the venue names containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the venue names.

City

The name of the city in which the venue is located.venue. To view the city names containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the city names.

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, NEW*, will search for those venue names that start with NEW.

    4  Select the “ Search” pushbutton.

The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the venue records that satisfy the search criteria specified.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

 

Venue Code

The unique code that identifies code of the venue.

Venue Name

The name of the venue.

Organization Name

The name of the organization.

City

The name of the city in which the venue is located.

4  Check the "Select" checkbox beside the venue you want to view and click on the hyperlink of the Venue Name.
