4      Select the “Edit External Venue” link in the “Select External Venue for Editing” page

4      The “Edit External Venue” page appears.

4      The following fields appear, which cannot be edited.

Date Format

The date format applicable to the login user.

Training General Information Unit

The training general information unit for which the external venue has been identified, in the “Create External Venue” activity.

Language

The language you selected in the previous page is displayed. 

From the “Language” drop-down list box, you can select any other language, to retrieve the record in the selected language.

Venue Code

The code that identifies the external venue. 

4      You can edit the following details.

4 If you want a particular venue to be inactive, select the check box beside the “Inactive” field.  Otherwise, you can leave the checkbox blank.

Venue Name

The name of the venue.  This is mandatory.

Organization

The name of the organization.

Address               

The address of the venue.

Country

The name of the country. By default, the drop-down list box displays “select”.  You can select the required country name from the drop- down list box.

State

The name of the state.  By default, the drop- down list box displays “Select”.  You can select the required state name from the drop- down list box.

County

Select the name of the county, from the drop-down list box.

City / Town

Select the name of the city, from the drop-down list box.

Council

Select the name of the council, from the drop-down list box.

Postal Code

The postal code of the state  selected  in the drop- down list box.

Phone 1

The phone number of the venue.

Phone 2

The second phone number, if available.

Fax

The fax number of the venue.

Mobile

The  mobile number of the venue.

Home Page

The  home page address of the venue.

E-mail

The email address of the venue.

4      Edit the following in the “Infrastructure Details” multiline.

Infrastructure

The infrastructure that is available  in  the  venue.  For example, computers, table and  chairs.

Available Units

The number of infrastructure that is available in the venue. For Example, the available units can be 10 computers

Cost per Unit

Defines the cost per unit of the infrastructure.

Duration, if Hire Purchase

If the infrastructure is being hired, this field indicates the time period for which it is being hired. Example, a company may hire computers for a duration of 3 weeks to 3 months. 

Currency

The currency in which the costs have been mentioned.

4      The system displays the following below the “Infrastructure Details” multiline.

Total Cost

The total cost of the infrastructure.

To edit comments

4      Select the book icon beside the “Comments” field. The system displays a dialog box containing the comments that were entered previously, if any.

4  You can view, modify or delete the content.

Select the “OK” pushbutton to save the details and return to the previous page.

Select the “Cancel” pushbutton to return to the previous page without saving the details entered.

To save in another language 

Save in Language

The language you selected in the previous page is displayed.

 From the “Language” drop-down list box, you can select any other language, to translate the record to this language.

4      Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the details entered.

 

To delete the external venue record

4      Select the “Delete” pushbutton to delete the entire external venue detail record.
