4 The “Edit External Faculty” page appears.
4 The following fields appear, which cannot be edited.
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
Training General Information Unit |
The name of the training general information unit selected in the previous page. |
Faculty Code |
The code that identifies the external faculty |
4 You can edit the following details pertaining to the external faculty.
Faculty Name |
The name of the faculty. |
User Name |
The login name given to the external faculty. |
Inactive |
Select the checkbox if you want the external faculty to be currently inactive. |
Qualification |
The qualification of the faculty. |
Experience |
The work experience of the faculty. It can be a teaching or non-teaching experience. |
Department |
The name of the department where the external faculty works. |
Job |
The name of the job, held by the external faculty. |
Organization |
The name of the organization. |
Location |
The location where the organization is situated. |
4 In the “Default With Faculty” field, you can select the required faculty whose details you want to edit.
4 Select the “Default with External Faculty” field. The drop-down list box displays the list of external faculty that has been defined for the organization so far.
4 Select the required external faculty from the “Default with External Faculty” drop-down list box
4 The page displays the details of the external faculty defined for the selected external faculty.
4 You can edit the following details pertaining to the external faculty.
Address |
The address of the organization to which the faculty belongs. |
Country |
The name of the country, to which the organization belongs . By default, the drop-down list box will display “select”. You have to select the required country name from the drop-down list box. |
State |
The name of the state. By default, the drop- down list box will display “select”. You have to select the required state name from the drop-down list box. |
County |
Select the required county name from the drop-down list box. |
City /Town |
Select the required city or town name from the drop-down list box. |
School District |
Select the required school district name from the drop-down list box. |
Postal Code |
The postal code of the selected state. |
Phone 1 |
The phone number of the faculty. |
Phone 2 |
The second phone number of the faculty, if available. |
Fax |
The fax number of the faculty. |
Mobile |
The mobile number of the faculty. |
Home Page |
The home page address of the faculty, if any. |

The email address of the faculty. |
Comments |
The comments pertaining to the external faculty. |
4 Select the book icon beside the “Comments” field. The system displays a dialog box containing the comments that were entered previously, if any.
4 You can view, modify or delete the content.
4 Select the “OK” pushbutton to save the details and return to the previous page.
4 Select the “Cancel” pushbutton to return to the previous page without saving the details entered.
4 Enter the following in the “Competencies” multiline.
Competency Code |
A unique code to define the competency. Help available |
Competency Short Description |
A brief description of the competency code that is unique. |
4 Specify the following below the multiline.
Save in Language |
The language you selected in the previous page is displayed. From the “Language” drop-down list box, you can select any other language, to translate the record to this language. |
4 Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the details entered.
4 Select the “Delete” pushbutton to delete the entire external faculty detail record.
