Use this page to enter the deviation in the employee’s shift timing.
Select "Record Employee Time Deviation" from the left pane
The "Record Employee Time Deviation" page appears.
The system displays the following field
Date Format |
The date format applicable for the login user. More details. |
Select the following
Scheduling Unit |
Select the organization unit in which you must record the time deviation. |
Employment Unit |
Select the organization unit that interacts with the Time Management Scheduling Unit, to access the time deviation information. This organization unit must hold the Employment Information component. |
Rota Plan |
The description of the rota plan to which the rota schedule belongs |
Rota Schedule |
The description of the rota schedule to which are mapped the employees who require a time deviation. |
Date of Deviation |
The date on which there will be a deviation in the employees’ shift timings. |
Select the “Get” pushbutton. The system displays the following
Scheduled Shift on Deviation Date |
The shift code of the shift that is normally scheduled on this date, for the employees mapped to the selected rota schedule. |
Scheduled Start Time |
The time at which this shift starts. |
Scheduled End Time |
The time at which this shift ends. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline
From Time |
The start time of each work session or break session, within the deviated shift timing |
To Time |
The end time of each work or break, within the deviated shift timing |
Time Type |
Indicate whether the session is work or break, by selecting. "Working" and "Break" from the drop-down list box. See permission for time deviation |
Select the "Save" pushbutton.
The system updates the following fields
Total Working Time |
The total number of hours the employee will work, on the date of deviation |
Total Shift Time |
The total number of hours the employee will contribute to the work sessions within the shift, on the date of deviation |
Total Break Time |
The total number of hours the employee will contribute to the break sessions within the shift, on the date of deviation. |
Select the “Save” pushbutton. The time deviation will become applicable for all the employees under the rota schedule
After you enter the shift break-up details in the multiline, select the “List Employees” pushbutton.
The “Applicable Employees” multiline displays the following details of all the employees mapped to the selected rota schedule
Employee Code |
The code of each employee |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. |
Assignment No. |
The number of the assignment for which the employee is mapped to a rota schedule. |
To select each employee for whom the time deviation is applicable, check the “Select” box pertaining to the employee, in the multiline row
Select the “Save” pushbutton. The time deviation will be applicable to only the employees you selected under the rota schedule.

Make a note of the transaction number. You will need to remember this number, to retrieve this document at any time later for editing
Enter any remark pertaining to the employee’s deviation in shift timings, in the “Deviation Reason” field.
To enter extensive comments, select the zoom icon beside the “Comments” field. A pop-up dialog box appears
Enter your remarks in this op-up dialog box
Select the “OK” pushbutton. The “Record Employee Time Deviation” page appears
