Use this page to retrieve an employee by means of a search.
Select the help icon beside the “Employee” field.
The “Help on Employee(s)” page appears.
The Employment Unit and Date from the previous page are displayed.
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
Employee Code |
To view the employee codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the employee codes. |
Assignment Number |
The number of the assignment, based upon which the employee is mapped to the selected rota schedule |
Department |
To view the departments containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the department codes. |
Position |
To view the positions containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the position codes |
Grade Set |
To view the grade sets containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the grade set |
Grade |
To view the grades containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the grade |
Select the “ Search” pushbutton.
Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are applicable to the selected reimbursement claim unit.
You can define the permission on employee only when the data level security parameter is set. The system retrieves and displays the employees based on the data level security permissions enabled for the login user.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the employee records that satisfy the search criteria specified.
Employee Code |
The code that uniquely identifies the employee |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee |
Department |
The department to which the employee belongs |
Job Title |
The title that the employee holds |
Position |
The position held by the employee |
Grade Set |
The set of grades under which the employee is grouped. |
Grade |
The specific grade to which the employee belongs, under the grade set. |
From the multiline, select an employee record by checking the “Select” box contained in the record.
Select the “OK” pushbutton at the bottom of the page
The employee you selected appears in the “Employee Code” field of the previous page

Through this page, you can find and select an employee, by providing the complete or partial range of characters in any of the following:
Employee code
Department
Position
Grade set or
Grade
For instance, if you enter the characters "Emp1" in the "Employee Code" field, the system will fetch all employee records in which the employee codes contain the characters "Emp1". From this list of records, you can select the employee record required.
