Glossary

Employee – Element Data Unit

The employee – element data unit selected in the previous page.

Date Format

The date format applicable to the log in user. Tell me more

Payroll

The payroll selected in the previous page.

Payset

The payset selected in the previous page.

Assignment Number

The assignment number of the employee, based on which the employee is entitled to the pay elements

Employee Code

The code of the employee selected in the previous page.

Employee Name

The name of the employee

Pay Element Code

The code of each non-recurring pay element for which the value entitled to the employee deviates from the pay element value within the payset.

Pay Element Description

The description of the pay element.

Note: All the pay elements pertain to the same payset

Amount

If the pay element value is specified in terms of a specific amount, the amount is displayed.

Rule

If the value of the pay element is determined by a rule, the rule is displayed

Note: Either “Amount” or “Rule” is displayed for a given pay element.

Process Period

The process period for which the redefined pay element value is effective.

Arrears
