Using online help

The “Review Employee Appraisal” page appears.

The system displays the following fields:

Date format

The date format that is applicable to the login user.

Employment Unit

The employment unit to which the employee belongs

Employee

The employee code and name of the employee.

Assignment No.

The assignment number of the employee.

Joining Date

The date of joining of the employee.

Confirmation Date

The date on which the employee was confirmed.

Appraisal Type

 

The appraisal type of the employee. It can be one of the following:

 Annual Appraisal

 Confirmation Appraisal

 Contract End Appraisal

 Any other user-defined through quick codes.

Appraisal Calendar Code

The code of the appraisal calendar in which the appraisal falls.

Calendar Short Description

A short description of the appraisal calendar.

Appraiser

The name of the appraiser.

Appraiser’s Employment Unit

The employment unit of the appraiser.

Period From

The date from which the appraiser is mapped to the appraisee.

Period To

 The date until which the appraiser is mapped to the  appraisee.

Parameter Category

The parameter category defined at the employee level.

Weightage Computation Level

The weightage computation level defined for the appraisal calendar and Parameter Category mapped to the employee.

Countersigning Officer

The employee code and name of the countersigning officer.

Employee Appraisal Status

The appraisal status of the employee’s performance appraisal. The status can be one of the following:

  • Pending: The appraiser is yet to appraise the employee

  • Completed: The appraiser has completed the appraisal for the employee. In other words, the appraiser has marked the “Have you completed Appraising' flag  as 'Yes'.

  • In-progress: The appraiser has started the appraisal for the employee but not completed it yet

To enter performance evaluation details

The system displays the following in the “Performance evaluation” multiline

Objective Group

The objective group for which you require to review the employee appraisal.

Objective Type

The objective type for which you require to review the employee appraisal.

Objective Description

A brief description of each objective. Tell me more.

Objective Detailed Desc. (Desired Outcome/Targets)

A detailed description of the objective.

Unit of Measure

The unit of measure of the quantitative target.

Quantitative Target

The quantitative target defined for the objective group and type.

Self Achievement

The self achievement of the employee against this objective.

Self Achievement %

The self achievement of the employee against this objective specified in percentage.

Achievement

The employee’s achievement against this objective through appraisal.

Achievement %

The achievement of the employee against this objective specified in percentage.

System Rating

The system rating applicable for the objectives.

Self Rating

The employee’s rating of the objective carried out through self-appraisal.

Self Rate Grade

The employee’s rate grade of the objective carried out through self-appraisal.

Weighted Score %

The weighted score of the employee for this objective.

Employee Remarks

Any remarks or comments regarding the performance evaluation details.

Appraiser Assessment / Comments

The assessment/comments against this objective.

Rating Pattern

The rating pattern applicable for this objective.

Weightage

 A number to indicate the weightage you want to assign to the objective.

Weightage (in %)

The weightage assigned to the objective or assignment, in percentage.

Appraiser Rating

The rating against this objective given by the appraiser.

Appraiser Rate Grade

The rate grade against this objective given by the appraiser.

Reviewer Rating

The rating against this objective given by the reviewer.

The desired outcomes/targets expected of the employee, for the assignment.

The achievement of the employee, for the assignment.

Self Achievement

The self achievement of the employee against this objective.

Self Achievement %

The self achievement of the employee against this objective specified in percentage.

Quantitative Target

The quantitative target defined for the objective group and type.

Achievement

The employee’s achievement against this objective through appraisal.

Achievement %

The achievement of the employee against this objective specified in percentage.

System Rating

The system rating applicable for the objectives.

Self Rating

The employee’s rating of the assignment, carried out through self-appraisal.

Self Rate Grade

The employee’s rate grade of the objective carried out through self-appraisal.

Weighted Score %

The weighted score of the employee for this objective.

The overall remarks for the employee, by the reviewer.

The strengths of the appraisee. This is to be entered as free text.

Area(s) of Improvement

The areas to be improved. This is to be entered as free text.

Specific Achievements

The specific achievements of the appraise. This is to be entered as free text.

To save without completing the performance evaluation details

The system saves the unfinished details. At any time before the “Valid Upto” date of the appraisal calendar, the reviewer can retrieve this performance appraisal of the employee, through the “Appraisal Review By Countersigning Officer” page, and complete the details.

To complete and save the performance evaluation details

The reviewer will not be able to change the details, after the “Submit” pushbutton is selected.
