Reviewing the employee appraisal
Ensure that you have selected the employee whose performance appraisal is to be reviewed, in the “Appraisal Review By Countersigning Officer” page.
Select the “Review Employee Appraisal” link from the “Appraisal Review By Countersigning Officer” page.
The “Review Employee Appraisal” page appears.
The system displays the following fields:
Date format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Employment Unit |
The employment unit to which the employee belongs |
Employee |
The employee code and name of the employee. |
Assignment No. |
The assignment number of the employee. |
Joining Date |
The date of joining of the employee. |
Confirmation Date |
The date on which the employee was confirmed. |
Appraisal Type
|
The appraisal type of the employee. It can be one of the following: Annual Appraisal Confirmation Appraisal Contract End Appraisal Any other user-defined through quick codes. |
Appraisal Calendar Code |
The code of the appraisal calendar in which the appraisal falls. |
Calendar Short Description |
A short description of the appraisal calendar. |
Appraiser |
The name of the appraiser. |
Appraiser’s Employment Unit |
The employment unit of the appraiser. |
Period From |
The date from which the appraiser is mapped to the appraisee. |
Period To |
The date until which the appraiser is mapped to the appraisee. |
Parameter Category |
The parameter category defined at the employee level. |
Weightage Computation Level |
The weightage computation level defined for the appraisal calendar and Parameter Category mapped to the employee. |
Countersigning Officer |
The employee code and name of the countersigning officer. |
Employee Appraisal Status |
The appraisal status of the employee’s performance appraisal. The status can be one of the following:

To save without completing the performance evaluation details
Ensure that you have entered details in at least one field.
Select the “Save” pushbutton.
The system saves the unfinished details. At any time before the “Valid Upto” date of the appraisal calendar, the reviewer can retrieve this performance appraisal of the employee, through the “Appraisal Review By Countersigning Officer” page, and complete the details.
To complete and save the performance evaluation details
Ensure that you have completed entering all the details.
Select “Yes” in the “Have You Completed Appraising” drop-down list box.
Select the “Submit” pushbutton.
The reviewer will not be able to change the details, after the “Submit” pushbutton is selected.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the "Recommendations" link at the bottom of the page used to provide reviewer's recommendations and to view the appraisers recommendation details.
Select the "View Training Needs" link at the bottom of the page to view the training need details.
Select the "View Potential Evaluation" link at the bottom of the page to view the potential evaluation details.
Select the "View Self Appraisal" link at the bottom of the page to view the self appraisal details.
Select the "View Past Appraisal" link at the bottom of the page to view the past appraisal details.
Select the "View Leave Summary" link at the bottom of the page to view the leave summary details.
Select the "View Disciplinary Action" link at the bottom of the page to view the disciplinary action details.
