Select the required employee record through direct entry or search critteria.
The system displays the “ Record Qualification Information” page.
The system displays the following details at the top of the page.
Employee Code Setup Unit |
The description of the organization unit in which the employee code setup component is deployed. Tell me more |
Date Format |
The date that is applicable to the login user. More Details. |
Employee |
The unique employee code and name of the employee. |
Employee Type |
The type of the employee’s job. The employee type indicates if the selected employee is a regular employee or has been hired on contract for a limited period or is a consultant. |
To view modification history
4 You can view the effective dates of the previous versions of the record in the “Access Data History” group box.
Effective From |
The date from which the corresponding version of the record was in effect. |
Effective To |
The date till which the corresponding version of the record was in effect. |
4 Select the “Previous” pushbutton to view the previous set of effective dates.
4 Select the “Next” pushbutton to view the next set of effective dates.
Use the “Qualification Details” multiline in the page to record the qualification details of the employee.
Enter the following details in the multiline.
Qualification Code |
The unique code of the qualification. Help available. |
Qualification Description |
The description of the qualification, for example, MBBS, applicable to the selected qualification code. |
Relative Importance |
The importance of the qualification with respect to the other qualifications possessed by the employee. |
Qualification Level |
The corresponding academic level of the qualification such as graduation, postgraduation applicable to the selected achievement code. |
Specialization |
The specific area of study. For example, if the qualification specified is engineering, indicate the specific area such as, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering to which the qualification is related. |
Qualification Type |
The type of the qualification, for example, License, Certification and Degree applicable to the selected qualification code. Qualification type indicates whether the qualification pertains to a license, certification or degree. |
Institution |
The name of the institution from which the employee secured the qualification. |
Major |
The major subjects of the employee. |
Minor |
The minor subjects of the employee. |
Month of Passing |
The month in which the employee obtained the qualification. |
Year of Passing |
The year in which the employee obtained the qualification. |
Duration |
The number of months/years required to complete the qualification. |
Unit |
The unit of time, for example, months, years etc. |
Nature |
The nature of study, for example, correspondence, full time, part time etc. |
GPA/Percentage |
The grade point average or percentage of marks obtained by the employee. |
Maximum |
The maximum marks against which the employee scored the percentage. |
Sponsored |
Indicates if the employee received any sponsorship to obtain the qualification or otherwise. |
Rank |
The rank obtained by the employee. |
Class |
The class obtained by the employee. |
From Date |
The date from which the employee studied for the qualification |
To Date |
The date till which the employee studied for the qualification. |
Highest Qualification |
From the drop-down list box, select "Yes" to indicate that the qualification is the highest qualification of the employee. Otherwise, select "No". |
Remarks |
The remarks pertaining to the qualification. |
To specify the modification option
4 Select the required modification option i.e., “Correct” or “Update” from the “Modification Option” drop-down list box.
To edit the record without changing the effective dates
4 Select the “Correct” option.
To edit the record and change the effective dates
4 Select the “Update” option.
Note: If the modification option selected is “Update”, you are to specify a new effective date from which a new version will be created in which the changes made will be updated.
To specify the new effective from date
4 Specify the new date from which the changes should come into effect in the “New Effective From” field.
4 Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the details specified.
