Help on Hierarchy

4 Ensure that you are in the “Help On Hierarchy” page.

4 The system displays the following fields at the top of the page.

Hierarchies Unit	The description of the organization unit in which the Hierarchies component is deployed.
Employment Unit	The description of the organization unit in which the Employment Information component is deployed.

4 Specify the following detail.

Hierarchy Short Description

From the drop-down list box, select the short description of the hierarchy.

4 When you select the hierarchy short description value, the system displays in the multiline below the following details of the hierarchy.

Hierarchy Chain Code	The unique code of the hierarchy chain.
Hierarchy Chain Description	The description of the hierarchy chain.
Hierarchy Chain Details	The details of the hierarchy chain.

4 Click on the “Select” checkbox corresponding to the required hierarchy details. After selecting the required position record from the multiline, select the “OK” pushbutton.

4 The selected hierarchy code is displayed in the corresponding field in the previous page.
