Creating a hierarchy chain

Select “Create Hierarchy chain ” from left pane
The “Create Hierarchy chain ” page appears.
To create a Hierarchy chain , specify the following:

Hierarchies Unit	The description of the hierarchies unit for which the organization hierarchy is defined. Select the required hierarchy unit from the drop-down list box.
Hierarchy Short Description	The short description of the hierarchy unit.
	Select the required value from the drop-down list box.
Hierarchy chain Code	A unique code for each chain in the organization structure.
Hierarchy chain Short description	The unique description of each chain in the organization structure.
Hierarchy chain Long Description	A more elaborate description of the Hierarchy chain.

Specify the following in the multiline below

Org Element Code

A unique code that identifies the organization element.

You can see the following details in the “Hierarchy chain Details” multiline below:

Order Description	A brief description of the order specified.
Order	The order of organization stratum for the specified hierarchy.
Org Stratum Description	A brief description of the organization stratum.
Org Element Description	A brief description of the organization element.

Click on the “Next” push button to view the next set of values in the multiline.

To enter comments pertaining to the hierarchy chain:

Select the book icon beside the “Comments” field. The system displays a dialog box in which you can enter any comments pertaining to the organization element created.
Select the “OK” pushbutton to save the details and return to the previous page.
Select the “Cancel” pushbutton to return to the previous page without saving the details entered.
To save the hierarchy chain details:
Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the details.
