Using online help

This page allows you to choose coverage and view the details for all the plans in which you want to enroll.

The following details are displayed based on the selected plan category. Choose the plan category from the dropdown.

Column 1

The following details are displayed under this column:

  • The name of the benefit plan. Click on the Hyperlink to view the benefit plan details in the right hand side.

  • Status of the benefit plan.

Column 2

 

  • Click  icon to launch the plan website. Plan Website will launch in a new window as per the URL. The URL can be launched if it is available from admin / HR.

Column 3

  • Click  icon to view the plan brochure to see any further details like in network service providers, out of pocket expenses. The brochure can be launched if it is available from admin / HR.

Note: Whenever any plan category is selected, the relevant options will be shown on the right pane.

If plan category is “Savings”, the following details are displayed on the right hand side

The system calculates and displays the employee and employer contribution cost.

Note: If the amount is greater than the maximum limit as per setup and rules, the system checks and gives a message.

If plan category is “Flexible Spending”, the following details are displayed on the right hand side

The system calculates and displays the employee and employer contribution cost.

Note: If the amount is not between the minimum and maximum limit as per setup and rules, the system checks and gives a message.

Dependents / Beneficiaries

Select the name of the dependent or beneficiary to be added to the plan from dropdown.

The system displays the name of the dependent or beneficiary in the multiline.

§.       Click  icon to remove the dependent or beneficiary from the plan in case required.

If plan category is “Health”, the following details are displayed on the right hand side

The system calculates and displays the employee and employer contribution cost for the selected coverage level.

Dependents / Beneficiaries

Select the name of the dependent or beneficiary to be added to the plan from dropdown.

The system displays the name of the dependent or beneficiary in the multiline.

If the selected dependent is not eligible as per the coverage level or age of dependent or any other conditions do not meet, system validates and gives a message.

If plan category is “Health Savings”, the following details are displayed on the right hand side

Note: This plan is eligible only if the employee has a high deductible health Plan. System validates if you have not enrolled for a high deductible health plan.

Single/Family

The option if single or family will be defaulted as per the high deductible health plan enrolled.

The system calculates and displays the employee and employer contribution cost.

Note: If the amount is greater than the maximum limit as per setup and rules, the system checks and gives a message.

If the plan category is “Insurance”, the following details are displayed on the right hand side

The system calculates and displays the employee and employer contribution cost for the selected coverage level.

Dependents / Beneficiaries

Select the name of the dependent or beneficiary to be added to the plan from dropdown.

Allocation %

Enter the allocation percentage for the selected dependent or beneficiary. This section will not be applicable for some plans if its employee insurance or company provided life or basic life or any other employer contributed life insurance for employee.

The system displays the name of the dependent or beneficiary and the allocation percentage in the multiline.

If any dependent does not qualify for the plan as per age, system validates and gives a message.

Note: Plan coverage options, dependents could be modified multiple times before you confirm. You will still have an option to make changes until you finally confirm and waive other plans.

The status of the benefits shows “Pending” in case the HR approval is required as per organizational policy. Once the HR approves, the benefit changes will reflect with approved status.
