Viewing methods set for rounding off

Basics of using Ramco Enterprise Series web page

Using Online Help

This page allows you to view the methods that have been set for rounding off values or quantities in various business function groups.

The “View Rounding Off Methods” page appears.

The system displays the following in the multiline:

Indicates the business function group for which the rounding off method has been set.

  Value Type

Indicates the type of value that must be rounded off. It could be “Value”, “Quantity”, “Exchange Rate” or “Rate”.

  • Quantity – indicates that all the quantity figures would be rounded off in the indicated method.

  • Value – indicates that all the calculated amounts would be rounded off in the indicated method.

  • Exchange Rate – indicates that all the exchange rate values would be rounded off in the indicated method.

  • Rate – indicates that all the unit rates would be rounded off in the indicated method.

Currency

Indicates the currency for which the method for round off has been set.

Indicates the method in which the rounding off must be made. It could be “Floor”, “Ceil” or “Nearest”.

  • Floor – indicates that the type of value must be rounded down to the nearest multiple of significance.

  • Ceil – indicates that the type of value must be rounded off to the nearest integer or to the nearest multiple of significance.

  • Nearest – indicates that the type of value must be rounded off to the nearest value.
