This activity allows you to view the certificate details of a selected part.

The “Inquire Part Certificate History” page appears.

Part #

The number identifying the part for which you wish to view the certificate history (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the part numbers similar to the value entered here.

The system ensures that the entered part number is valid as defined in the “Part Administration” business component.

Serial #/ Lot #

Enter the serial number of the part, for which you wish to view the certificate history (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the serial numbers similar to the value entered here.

Enter the lot number of the part for which you wish to view the certificate history (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the lot numbers similar to the value entered here.

Certificate Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of certificate received along with the part. The system lists all the certificate types defined in the “Logistics Common Master” business component.

Certificate Date: From/ To

The starting date in the range of certificate dates from which the certificates details must be retrieved (Date Format). The system lists all the certificates that are raised later than this date. Leave this field blank to search the certificates, irrespective of the starting date.

The ending date in the range of certificate dates until till which the certificate details must be retrieved (Date Format). The system lists all the certificates that are raised earlier than this date. Leave this field blank to search the certificates, irrespective of the ending date.

The date entered must be in the same format as displayed in the “Date Format” field and must be earlier than or equal to the system date.

The system ensures that the “From” date is earlier than the “To” date.

Certificate Details

Use the drop-down list box to select the details of the certificate. The system lists the options “Certificate #” and “Certificate Supplier #”.

You must select the certificate type from the drop-down list box, if the certificate number is entered.

The system leaves the field blank by default.

Ref. Document #

The number identifying the reference document based on which the part certificate history is to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). The system lists the options “Maintenance Return”, “General Return”, “Unplanned Return”, “Unplanned Receipt”, “Stock Transfer Receipt”, “Loan / Rental Receipt”, “Goods Receipt”, “Customer Goods Receipt”, “Stock Correction” and “Opening Balance”.

You must select the reference document type from the drop-down list box, if the reference document number is entered.

The system leaves the field blank by default.

Certificate Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the certificate. The system lists the options “Active” and “Inactive”.

The system leaves the field blank by default.

Stocking Warehouse #

Use the drop-down list box to select the warehouse stocking the part. The system lists all the warehouses defined in the “Storage Administration” business component.

The system leaves the field blank by default.

  •  Click the “Search” pushbutton, to retrieve the search results.

The system displays the following in the “Certificate Details” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Part #

The number identifying the part.

Serial #

The serial number of the part

Lot #

The lot number of the part

Certificate Type

The type of certificate issued to the part.

Certificate #

The unique number identifying the certificate of the part

Certificate Date

The date on which the certificate for the part was issued.

File Name

The file name for the certificate attached with the part # - serial # / lot # in the reference document (goods receipt, repair receipt, customer goods receipt, loan receipt or rental receipt).

Certificate Supplier #

The number identifying the certificate that is issued to the supplier.

Primary Certificate?

Indicates whether the certificate is a main certificate

Certificate Status

The status of the certificate for the part.

Ref. Document Type

The type of the reference document based on which the certificate details of the part are viewed.

Ref. Document #

The number identifying the reference document.

Inspected By

The login ID of the user who inspected the part

Inspected Date

The date on which the part was inspected.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Warehouse #

The number identifying the warehouse in which the part is available.

Zone #

The number identifying the zone in which the part must be stored in the warehouse.

Bin #

The number identifying the bin in which the part must be stored in the zone.

Stock Status

The user defined stock status of the part.

Condition

The condition of the part for which you wish to view the certificate details.

To proceed
