Editing stock maintenance quick codes
This activity allows you to modify an existing quick code in the “Active” status. Tell me more
Select the “Edit Quick Codes” link under the “Stock Maintenance” business component.
The “Edit Quick Codes” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Quick Code Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the quick code type for which quick codes have to be modified. The system provides the options “User Status”, “Category”, “Correction Category”. “Correction User Status”, “Revaluation Category”, “Revaluation User Status” and “Pool Category”. The system displays “Category” by default. |
Status |
Use the drop down list box to select the status of the quick code to be modified. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”, and sets the field to “Active” by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:
Quick Codes |
The quick code belonging to the selected quick code type or status. You can modify only those quick codes that are in the “Active Status”. |
Enter the following:
Description |
A modified textual description for the quick code (Alphanumeric, 80). Mandatory. |
Status |
Use the drop down list box to modify the status of the quick code. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Set the status as “Inactive” if you wish to disable this quick code for future reference in other activities. |
Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the quick code. |
Created Date |
The date on which the quick code was created. |
Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the quick code. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the quick code was modified last. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the quick code for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the quick codes selected in the multiline.
Click the “Edit Quick Codes” pushbutton to save the modifications made.
The system stores the server date as the “Last Modified Date”.
