Generating Part Tracking Report
This page allows you to generate the report that contains the part tracking details.
Select the “Generate Part Tracking Report” link under the “Configuration Reports” business component.
The “Generate Part Tracking Report” page appears.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for part that must be tracked. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Part # |
The part for which the tracking report must be generated (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the part numbers that are similar to the value entered here. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the part description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the part numbers with the part description entered here. |
Serial # |
The serial number of the part (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the serial number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the part numbers with the serial number entered here. |
Component # |
The number identifying the component belonging to the part (Alphanumeric, 90). You can enter the component number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the parts with the component number entered here. |
Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model to which the part is associated (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the aircraft model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the part numbers with the aircraft model number entered here. |
Aircraft Reg # |
The aircraft registration number to which the part is associated (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the aircraft registration number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the part numbers with the aircraft registration number entered here. |
Warehouse # |
The number identifying the warehouse in which the part is stocked (Alphanumeric, 10). You can enter the warehouse number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the part numbers with the warehouse number entered here. |
NHA |
The number identifying the parent part, which is otherwise, called the next higher assembly (Alphanumeric, 40). |
Org. Unit # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the organizational unit in which the part configuration is defined. The system lists all the organizational units associated to the company, in which the configuration can be created. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

The part that is defined in the system. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Serial # |
The serial number of the part. |
Component # |
The number identifying the component belonging to the part. |
Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model to which the part is associated. |
Aircraft Reg # |
The aircraft registration number to which the part is associated. |
Warehouse # |
The number identifying the warehouse in which the part is stocked. |
NHA |
The next higher assembly or parent part. |
Org. Unit # |
The organizational unit in which the part configuration is defined. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the part for generating the part tracking report.
Enter the following field:

Check this box to select all the part numbers listed in the multiline. |
Enter the following field in the “Report Options” group box:
Report Action |
Use the drop-down list box to select the report action. The system lists the following options:

Select the “Generate Part Tracking Report” link to generate the part tracking report for the part selected in the multiline.
