This page allows you to view the fuel consumed by the aircraft for each journey. Tell me more.

The “View Fuel Consumption Report” page appears.

The system, displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following field in the “Aircraft Details” group box:

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft registration number for which the fuel consumption details are displayed.

Aircraft Model #

The model number to which the aircraft belongs.

From Date

The starting date in the range of dates, for which the journey logs must be retrieved (Date Format). The date entered here should be in the format displayed in the “Date Format” field.

To Date

The ending date in the range of dates, for which the journey logs must be retrieved (Date Format). The date entered here should be in the format displayed in the “Date Format” field.

Fuel UOM

Use the drop-down list box to select the unit of measurement for the fuel. The system lists the UOM set for the part in the “Part # Used For Fuel” field in the “Set Options” activity. And also lists all other valid UOM defined for part in the “Maintain UOM Conversions” of “Part Administration” business component.

The system displays the following in the “Fuel Consumption Details” multiline:

Journey Date

The date of the journey.

Journey Log #

The number identifying the journey log defined for the aircraft.

Flight category

The category of the flight.

Flight #

The number identifying the flight.

Leg #

The leg number of the flight.

Block Hours

The system displays the difference between the time of departure and the time of arrival.

Total Hours

The time for which the aircraft was in the air. The system displays the difference between the take off time and the landing time.

Fuel Consumed

The amount of fuel consumed when the flight was in the air. The difference between the fuel on board at the time of departure and the fuel on board at the time of arrival is shown here. The values entered in the “Fuel On Board” field for the departure and the arrival in the “Create Journey Log” page of the “Record Journey Log” activity is considered for calculation.

Fuel Consumption Rate

The fuel consumption rate is calculated as “Fuel consumed” divided by “Block hours” or “Total flight hours”, depending upon the default setting chosen in the “Set Options” activity.

If the status of the flight is “Cancelled”, or the flying hours for the aircraft registration number is zero, the system displays zero in this field.

Captain #

The employee number of the captain in the flight.

Viewing Fuel or Oil Consumption - A summary of the activity

In this page, you can view the fuel consumed by the aircraft for each journey. The system displays the journey logs for a specified date range. Details such as journey start date, journey log number, type of the flight, flight number, leg of the flight, block hours, total flight hours, amount of fuel consumed and the fuel consumption rate are displayed.
