Modifying flight log quick codes
This page enables you to modify flight log quick codes.
Select the “Edit Quick Codes” link under the “Flight Log” business component.
The “Edit Quick Codes” page appears.
Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a quick code. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Quick Code Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the quick code, which could be, “Journey Log User Status”,“Journey Log Category”, “Exec. Ref. User Status”, “Task User Status”, “Execution Ref # Category”, “Exec. Code”, “CoM User Status”, “In-Direct Category”, “Landing Type”, “User Defined Detail1”, “User Defined Detail2” and "Fuel Usage Category". The system lists all the quick codes that are of the type specified here. The system displays “Journey Log User Status” by default. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the quick code to be modified. The system provides the options “Active” or “Inactive”. Leave this field blank to retrieve quick codes irrespective of their status. The system displays “Active” by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline based on the filter criteria entered:

The quick code retrieved by the system. |
Enter the following fields to modify the quick code details:
Description |
The textual description of the quick code (Alphanumeric, 80). |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the quick code to either “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Set the status as “Inactive” to disable the quick code from future reference in other activities. |
The system displays the following field:
Created By |
The name of the user who created the quick code. |
Created Date |
The date on which the quick code was created. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the quick code information. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the quick code was last modified. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the quick code for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the quick codes selected in the multiline.
Click the “Edit Quick Codes” pushbutton to update the modified quick codes.
You cannot modify quick codes of Quick Code Type “In-Direct Category”, if Component Interaction Model (CIM) interaction exists between the “Time Management” and “Flight log” business components.
Note: Since Time booking is managed by “Time Management” business component, quick codes can be modified only in the “Time Management Master” business component.
