This page enables you to add additional journey legs to the selected flight sheet. Tell me more.
Select the “Add Journey Legs” link in the “Edit Flight Sheet” page or "Amend Flight Sheet".
The “Add Journey Legs” page appears.
Note: This page can be invoked only when the flight code is not “NFW-No Flight Weather”, “NFR-No Flight Required”, “NFU-No Flight Unsch. Maintenance”, “NFS-No Flight Sch. Maintenance” or “NFH-No Flight Hangar Maintenance”.
In this page, you can add desired journey legs to the flight sheet which is in any one of “Approved”, “Confirmed” or “Under Amendment” status.
The system displays the following field:
Date & Time Format |
The format in which the date and time fields are to be entered. The date format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. The time is displayed as HH:MM or HHMM, in 24 hour format. For example 11:00pm is displayed as 23:00 or 2300 and 10:45am is displayed as 1045 or 10:45. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Reference Details” group box:
Flight Sheet # |
The number identifying the flight sheet. |
Customer Call sign |
The code identifying the customer’s job. |
Status |
The status of the flight sheet. |
User Status |
The user-defined status of the flight sheet. |
Aircraft Reg# |
The registration number of the aircraft. |
Aircraft Model # |
The model to which the aircraft belongs. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Journey Log # |
The number identifying the journey log (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the journey log number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. |
Journey Log Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the category to which the journey log belongs. The system lists all the values defined for the quick code type “Journey Log Category” in the “Create Quick Codes” activity. |
From Station |
The starting location of the journey leg or the journey log (Alphanumeric, 32). You can enter the station number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. |
To Station |
The terminating location of the journey leg or journey log (Alphanumeric, 32). You can enter the station number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. |
From Date |
The start date of the journey leg or journey log (Date Format). |
To Date |
The end date of the journey leg or journey log. (Date Format). |
Note: Leave the fields blank to retrieve all the details irrespective of the search criteria.
Note: The system will not retrieve journey logs which are "Under Amendment".
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:
Journey Log # |
The number identifying the journey log. |
Journey Log Category |
The category to which the journey log belongs. |
Leg # |
The number identifying the journey leg. |
From Station |
The station where the journey leg begins. |
From Date |
The date on which the journey leg begins. |
From Time |
The time at which the journey leg begins. |
To Station |
The station where the journey leg ends. |
To Date |
The date on which the journey leg ends. |
To Time |
The time at which the journey leg ends. |
Flight Time |
The flight time associated with the journey leg.. |
Take Offs |
The number of take-offs corresponding to the selected journey leg. |
Remarks |
Any remarks or comments pertaining to the flight sheet. |
Click the “Add Journey Legs” pushbutton to add the selected journey leg to the flight sheet.
If the page is being invoked from "Edit Flight Sheet” page:
The system updates the journey leg status as "Allocated".
If the page is being invoked from "Amend Flight Sheet" page:
The system updates the journey leg status as "Allocated".
The system updates the status of the "Flight Sheet" as "Under Amended" and increments the amendment number by "1", if the flight sheet is in "Approved" or "Confirmed" status in the "Amend Flight Sheet" page.
The system adds the selected journey legs to the flight sheet without incrementing the amendment number and retaining the "Under Amendment" status of the the flight sheet, if the flight sheet is in "Under Amendment" status.
Adding journey legs – An overview
This page allows you to add one or more desired journey legs to the modified flight sheet. The desired journey legs can be retrieved by providing the journey log number and journey log category as the search criteria. The status of the flight sheet is not modified on addition of the journey legs. The flight sheet can be modified even after the addition of the journey legs.
